According to Sara Díaz, CAS Coordinator, International School of Bologna, Italy, "A CAS reflection is a summary and evidence of activity. It provides students the opportunity to share thoughts, honest accounts of what they’ve gained during that period."(blogs.ibo.org)
One of the ten IB attributes is 'reflexive'; a reflexive IB student practices introspection and digging deep into oneself to discover new aspects, traits, or skills within them. The IB student is also looking for the weaknesses and strengths in themselves and their communities, getting to the roots of these points and creatively thinking of ways to further develop them or to grow from them.
Díaz goes on to suggest a method on how to approach reflections in her blog as shown in the picture below.
